chemistry questions
Unsolved problems in chemistry tend to be questions of the kind "Can we make X chemical compound?", "Can we analyse it ?", "Can we purify it ?" and are commonly solved rather quickly, but may just as well require considerable efforts to be solved. However, there are also some questions with deeper implications. This article tends to deal with the areas that are the center of new scientific research in chemistry. Problems in chemistry are considered unsolved when an expert in the field considers it unsolved or when several experts in the field disagree about a solution to a problem [1].....

100% Q: Chemistry Questions?
I am reviewing for my general chemistry 2 class and I need some help refreshing my memory. If you can answer any of these questions I would really appreciate it. thanks
1. An aqueous solution of barium hydroxide is mixed with sulfuric acid to produce solid barium sulfate and water. Balance the equation . Indicate the physical state of each reactant and product.
2. What volume 0.250 M sulfuric acid is needed to neutralize 50.0 mL 0.500 M barium hydroxide?
3. What amount of barium sulfate could theoretically form in the reaction?
4. List all species present in the solution after the reaction has gone to completion (i.e. when the barium hydroxide is completely neutralized?
A:1. Ba(OH)2 + H2SO4 -> BaSO4 + 2H2O
2. 100 ml
3. 25 millimoles
4. BaSO4 and H2O

100% Q: People bugging me with chemistry questions after I helped them?
I was answering chemistry questions to the best of my knowledge and I only have one year of general chemistry under my belt I am pretty good at chem but not that good. Now they want my emails and are giving me 50 questions each in chem. And no reward! Their homework!
What should do? I feel bad.
A:Delete the emails. You don't owe them more than you're willing to give. It's at best presumptuous of them to be emailing you their homework that way. As a worst case scenario, you can always turn off the "Allow email" feature temporarily. Please tell me you didn't give them your actual email address.

100% Q: Why are chemists interested in theoretical and actual yields? This is one of my chemistry questions.?
My chemistry lab teacher asked this in a worksheet, if anyone has a good answer to the question please let me know.
A:Theoretical yield is how much product it is possible to obtain, based on a chemical equation. The actual yield is how much product you ACTUALLY obtain from an experiment. Comparing them is important because they can point you toward improving your technique to maximize your yield (which is the usually something to strive for), and it can give you a maximum yield you can expect for a particular experimental technique.

100% Q: Chemistry Questions: seperation of a mixture by paper chromatography?
Chemistry Questions: seperation of a mixture by paper chromatography
After you have done the things down below
To assemble and operate a paper chromatography apparatus.
To study the meaning and significance of Rf values.
To test various food colorings and to calculate their Rf values.
To comparer measured Rf values with standard Rf values.
To separate mixtures of food colorings into their components.
***what can be identified the components of mixture s by means of their Rf values? Rf= d1/d2?
I am stuck on the last qustion please help me with three to four sentences please this is urgent thank you for your cooperation
A:Size of the component molecule will limit how far it can travel.
