100% Q: How do the people in Mexico celebrate Christmas?
A:Exactly the same as we do. I know this because I live there fully half the time... It is wonderfull in Mexico city right now, The weather is cold, but not too cold, just enough for a quilted jacket and scarf. The Christmas lights are everywhere and Shoppers fill the merry streets. The whole of Mexican life is about children so this is all well and good for them...Of course everything is in Spanish...but nonetheless...the Christmas carrols are basically the same ones...Mexico is a fantastic place to be around Christmas...and I will surely be there by the 15th...Merry Christmas and...Feliz Navidad...

100% Q: What are typical Christmas gifts given to a child in Mexico?
I am teaching a group of students a lesson on Christmas in Mexico. From what I have read about Christmas in Mexico, Christmas is still really celebrating Christ's birth! I love that! In the United States, so much emphasis is given to gift-giving from Santa. Do children in Mexico expect lots of gifts like in the USA? Are the gifts big and elaborate or small and meaningful?
A:I have family that lives in Mexico....Actually, the schools there give out a lunch sack filled with apples, oranges, and nuts to each child. Also, when I moved to texas 5 miles away from the Mexico border I was in High School and our school in the United States did this same thing...I guess fruit baskets are a common gift in Mexico.

100% Q: How is Christmas celebrated in Mexico?
I was woundering if they have tress with decorations children believe in Santa ect.
A:Presents are mainly given to little children.
Mainly, Christmas is just a big family celebration over there. Some focus on the more religious part of it, but everyone mostly gets together on la Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) to just be with each other, and eats loads and loads of food.
