100% Q: I bought a new car online, I did not pay sales tax or register the car. How can I get a title?

I bought the car online and had the dealer deliver it to the boat dock for immediate export. I did not pay sales tax or register the car and have not titled it either. All I have is a certificate of origin. How can I title the car to sell it when I bring it back to the States?

A:If you have an MSO on a Canadian car car you might have a bit of a problem check and make sure there are no tariffs with border states for import due before registration. I used to buy "Grey market" Chrysler Intrepid (I know they are Dodges here) that had been registered in Kansas, and the reason was taxes. If it is a domestic car just take it to you local tax office with the buyers agreement and pay the appropriate sales tax and registration as long as the MSO is filled out properly.

100% Q: Car sale online with another individual?

I am going to be buying a car from a guy I saw online selling it on an online forum. I am going to have a car transport setup to send the car to me from it's location. I am getting the title and bill of sale and I think I'll use paypal to send him the money. My question is that if there is any way thats more secure or a better way thats more legit to cover me and what not? Am I missing anything, what would you do. Where do I get the insurance from?

A:If you can buy insurance on the deal I would. I have purchased a car online with no problems... I paid cash. Between freinds and family I have seen 3 vehicles purchased or sold on-line. One was a bad deal the purchaser used a bad cashiers check. good luck...

100% Q: Where can I sell my car online?

I am trying to sell a car on e-bay, but have now been let down 3 times by timewasters. It is now starting to cost me money. Is there any other online car sales sites that I can use. I want it to be seen by people all over the UK not just within my region. Sorry, might not have put it right - ONLINE, it already has a sign on it, but it isn't seen as it is in a private car park and is not driven around! I am not listing it on E-bay again as there are too many muppets on there who have nothing better to do with their time.

A:try the autotrader.com website, i sold my car on there and the guy came 450 miles to pick it up!!! You can put a photo of it on there and you can also chose for it to go in their magazine as well. Good Luck!!!

100% Q: has anybody purchased a vehicle of a online car sales site called(autoquake) if so how did the sale go?

A:IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO BUY FROM THESE ON-LINE PLACES AND WHAT I AM READING IS THAT JUST ABOUT EVERYONE IS GETTING RIPPED OFF. I WOULD NEVER BUY A VEHICLE ON-LINE WITHOUT SEEING AND DRIVING IT.
