A:The old Need for Speed games up until Porsche Unleashed had detailed cockpits. Also the game GT Legends (from the same people that did GTR2) has an detailed inside view.

100% Q: What Are Some Great Car Racing Games?

I'm looking for video game suggestions. I love car racing games and I know there are some older ones out there that I haven't played that might be really good. What do you recommend? They can be for any of systems (Xbox reg & 360, PS2 & 3, and Wii). Also any new ones coming out in the near future that you think will be any good?

A:The Need for Speed franchise really picked up when they released NFS underground......... They built it up alot for the second NFS underground, and ultimately I think they topped the best when the released NFS Most Wanted (all for xbox, computer, and ps2-3 I believe) Also, NFS carbon was a pretty good game. The gran turismo's are always gonna be great racing games, more simulation than storyline though. Still my favorite game that I've played in a long time is NFS Most Wanted.

Shooters and racers are flooding the market, I like Ratchet and Clank... What are your non shooter / racer favourites ? Good suggestions all hadn'tthought of a lot of those. and littlebigplanet.. that looks to be good when it comes out. Has anyone played any good demos of upcoming games ?

A:Please apart from sport games there is only one game that is worth playing(apart from COD4) and that is devil may cry 4. wow i have never had so much fun inn my life. It is seriosuly well made and took a week of my life, and i dont want it back. As well, even if it is an old game, assasins creed. is still good . good luck, wait a while and the new GTA is coming out.

100% Q: What's the best camera view when playing RACING CAR games? Cockpit or Nose?

I have this G25 racing wheel, i think the nose would be considered more realistic compared to cockpit because you can assume your wheel itself is the cockpit and the monitor as the real windshield, although the effect seem unreal when bumping into something, however one disadvantage is no side and center mirrors. But, you get more control with the nose unlike cockpit, it seem a bit the front wheels are a bit too far. What do you think?
