100% Q: Help on the best prepaid cell phone and plans?

What company has the best prepaid cell phone and plans, I am looking for very little usage (minutes-maybe 2 hours a month), text messaging and maybe being able to download my ring tones. I have had the normal cell phone plan but as soon as you change one thing on your plan they just keep extending the contract..No thank you.

A:I just got back from the mall and was looking for the same thing, alot of these places are rip offs. I went to t mobile they had plans no contract, no credit check no cancellation fees. One was 29.99 with 300 minutes and free weekends or 39.99 for 600 minutes with free nights AND weekends. And I got a nice flip phone that had all the features. Definitely go there.

A:It depends on the area in which you live. Consumer Reports did a study across the nation and it varied from place to place. For the most part, Verizon was on top every time except for the Chicago area, where it was in a close second (only beaten out by a local company). As for contract worries and adding/dropping features (which requires a new 2-year contract); watch the news, because a lot of companies are getting flack from the govt. and from lawsuits.

My girlfriend lives in the acores (portugal) and i live in the states (no i didnt meet her online lol) anyways i know my at&t cell phone is gonna come back and kick me in the butt but i need to know the best international calling card that can call to an oversea cell phone, i bought one the other day but apparently it doesnt allow calls to oversea cell phones just landlines, any advice will help, thanks.
