100% Q: Could someone please send me a direct link to a website consisting of the United States' Gas Prices History
I am trying to make a line graph showing the changes with gas prices in the United States for school. Therefore, I simply can't copy and paste. I am having a hard time finding the data such as what was the average gas price in 1990. I don't care what beginning timeline the yearly gas prices begin just please email a link to the website containing the information. Does matter if it is or is not with inflation.

100% Q: Look at this shocking gas statistics! What can we do??
Gas prices are now averaging 3.13 per gallon up 75 cents from one yr ago.
Experts predict $ 4.00 per gallon by Spring
Home Heating oil costs have tripled since 2001.
5 big oil companies reported RECORD profits in 2007- Exxon Mobile earning 40.6 billion- THE LARGEST CORPORATE PROFIT IN AMERICAN HISTORY!
While many Americans are struggling in this horrible economy what can we do to make a change? It is not right that the big oil companies are making record profits while the American people can hardly keep their homes and fill up their tanks to work or go to school. Is there a short term fix to get relief?

Leif- Who are you to answer the question? Glad you are one of those senseless people that like wasting their money- I guess you are one of those adjustable rate mortgage victims too that is effecting the rest of the country.
MalClave- Wow! Thanks for the rant on how to ask a question here on Yahoo- looks like you have an impressive 8% of best answers. I don't think that I need your evaluation, but any time I can provide you with tips on how to ANSWER a question properly let me know. The question listed statistics not emotions. The source is also listed at the bottom of the question. Please take a refresher course in reading comprehension.
A:I feel the same as you. My family took a three day vacation last week. Gas cost us over $250.00 for the trip. That is as much as we paid for our hotel and more than we spent on entertainment. By the time we figured in fuel, several things we promised the kids we would do were just not in the budget. We drive a small SUV and can't afford to trade it for something more fuel efficient, (it is paid for). Also, you can't take a vacation with four people in a tiny car. Regular working class people can't afford vacations while big oil execs can afford their own private islands. The fact that oil companies are making record profits is gaulling to those of us who struggle just to get by. I just had to add this comment on Leif W's answer. Who am I to say the price you pay for gas is too high? I personally don't give a flying rat's a** if you write a big fat personal donation to your favorite oil company and deliver it with a wet, sloppy smooch. However I do care about myself and most of the people in this country having to struggle to pay exorbitant gas prices just so fabulously rich people can get even more fabulously rich. I usually don't say this, but that was a profoundly stupid answer and we all are dumber now having read it.

100% Q: Do you agree that President George W. Bush is the best president in history?
I believe President George W. Bush is doing a very good job. He is helping the entire world and our country. I know we did not FIND any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but I believe they were there. At least we got rid of sadam hussane, and have you heard from Osama bin laden, no. Don’t blame the president for the gas prices; our prices are still lower than the rest of the worlds were before president bush. Most of the stuff democrat’s use as evidence to discredit bush is made up or exaggerated. And yes he did have a C average, but it was at Yale. And yes he may have said this about the Constitution: 'It's just a goddamned piece of paper', but sometimes these things can get in the way of what’s right.
- Why do I believe bush is a good president?
- He is helping to make it easier for immigrants to get jobs. And helping illegal’s get citizen ship, not just kicking out people who have families and help support our economy.
- He is helping to free and protect the Iraqi people.
- He is actively eliminating threats to America.
- He is against gay marriage.
- He is against murdering helpless babies.
- He is a good Christian person.
- He is willing to allow our phones to be monitored to protect national security.
These are just the basics, I have many more reasons.

A:YES!
He also cut taxes!
He is against gay marriage!
He is against parial birth abortion!
The unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in a long time!
More people own homes then ever before!
The list goes on, and on!

100% Q: what do you people think of the lucrative gas prices?
i asked that question because there are four gas stations in my area charging over tan the new jersey average. i live in hillsdale new jersey and there are two in hillsdale stations that are charging more than usual. one is valero in hillsdale and ther other is lukeoil on kinderkamack road in hillsdale. they are both charging 4.10 a gallon and i think they are ripping the people off and both are crooks. the other two stations are in park ridge new jersey on kinderkamack road and the two stations are gulf and valero. they are both charging 4.05 a gallon. well we could thank president bush for the high gas prices and he is the worst president in modern history and if anybody votes for john mccain they are uneducated and stupid. do you really want anohter four more years of disaster in washington under mccain? we are in a recession right now and the oil companies do not even care and neither does the rich.
A:I think OPEC are digging their own graves. If the US falls further into recession, oil prices will inevitably crash.
OPEC can't see beyond their own greed.
As for the elections....1 in 3 Americans are illiterate, and these people have the vote. Anything can happen. I think McCain winning would be disastrous for America, and the world.
