100% Q: how do i remove altavista from my tool bar?

i downloaded it a week ago and ever since then it has been frying my computer. for two days it wouldnt work properly, but i got to the point of removing it on the Add or Remove program thing. but my computer is still not right because on my tool bar i see an altavista search....how do i remove it PERMENETLY?

A:Right click your mouse, select customize, and add / remove what you want from the tool bar. To remove all traces of altavista after add/remove program (from control panel} option has been used is to use software like "regclean" or the like.
