100% Q: Does anyone have the slightest idea of how to get a job at Aldi Grocery Store?

Well, I've been trying for about three years to get a Job At this damn store. I'm trying to find out the secret to getting a call back for an interview. What are they looking for on the application.I have Experience working in a grocery store, I'm getting really frustrated with them because they tell you that they're looking for individuals with a high school diploma,and some other things, and I possess them all, So why Aren't I getting called back..........Who knows the real scoop.....I need Answers!!!!

A:There are a whole bunch of possible reasons: 1. They're taking applications but don't need anyone right now. 2. They don't want someone who's trained by another grocery chain. They want to hear, "That's not how we did it at .......". 3. You've never stayed at a job more than a few months. 4. You got a bad reference from a previous employer. 5. There are gaps in your employment history that look suspicious. 6. The person who took your application didn't like your appearance. 7. Someone they like better has always edged you out of consideration. 8. You put on the application that you won't work weekends. 9. You demanded a quick answer about whether or not you'll be hired or mentioned that you're frustrated because they won't hire you. And I'm sure there are another 101 reasons. Frankly, if you haven't been able to get on at a grocery store for three years, you must be doing something wrong. If you know anyone who hires people, fill out an application for them and ask them for their opinion.

100% Q: Has anyone shopped at an Aldi grocery store?

They just built one near where I work. I went to their website but I'm wondering if they carry other brands or just their own store brand? What is the quality of meat and produce?

A:They carry all sorts of brands. Some are household names, but most you will not recognise. It's a bit like shopping when your self-catering on holiday in the med! I recommend you visit, as you are likely to save at least 20% on your normal ASDA or TESCO shop. You won't find everything you need, but the deli is fab and the wines are pretty good too. Advise you check the salt and sugar content on the label before you get carried away though! You can sign-up (online) to receive their weekly specials. Some of the non-food stuff is incredibly cheap. Take a chance... what do you have to lose? (A converted Aldi customer).

If so what did you think of it? They just opened one in my town and I am leary for the off brands. I would love someones opinion who has shopped there before.

A:i shopped there didnt buy any thing cause of the off brands but i know other people who do and they buy everthing except meats ,and dairy well you never know until you try good luck

100% Q: How is the Aldi's grocery store?

I've been hearing about this store lately and about how it has good bargains. Is it a much cheaper place to do grocery shopping compared to other grocery stores?

A:I shop there all the time. Great bargains on frozen food, canned food, snack food, and cereal. Mostly not name brand, but who cares? Corn chips are corn chips and corn flakes are corn flakes. Their produce lacks variety, and sometimes quality. Carefully check over any bagged produce you buy to make sure you don't get a rotten apple, onion, etc. in the mix. The other thing you need to know is that they DO NOT take checks or credit cards. They WILL take debit cards, cash, and food stamps. Also, the way they keep the prices so low is that they use as little staff as possible, so be prepared to have a long line at the register and to bag your own groceries. (They charge for bags, so you might want to bring your own:-)
