100% Q: Can a ball python and an albino burmese python get along under any circumstances?
The ball python is a male, 4 years old, approx. 4 feet long.
Good temperment when handled even around large groups, a little timid, wasn't handled too much in its earlier years prior to being owned by myself.
The albino burmese python is a male, 3.5 months old, 2.5 feet long.
Very friendly, has only nipped me twice. Never shown aggressive behaviour since the event.
A:i wouldn't count on it especially since the burmese will get about 5 times bigger than the ball but for now they probably wouldn't fight but i wouldn't risk it. never a good idea to mix different species. and burmese definetly can't grow to 35 to 40 feet whoever said that the get 30 at a maximum and that is really rare they average at about 20 to 25 feet total length even if they are fed rabbits or goats.

100% Q: Does anyone know of a good place to buy frozen rats in bulk for my albino burmese python?
I have a four foot albino burmese python and I was wanting to find a place that would ship her food. I live in Texas and was wanting to find a place here in Texas. Thanks for the help.
A:I found this site that carries them http://www.bigappleherp.com/Reptile_Supplies/Product/Big_Apple_Rats_940220.html
and they are fairly cheap but unfortunatley I was unable to find any in texas, also please ignore other comments that live is better, frozen is much healthier and safer for your snake.

100% Q: why is my albino burmese python acting weird?
after my 5m albino burmese python gave birth to 55 eggs, she has been acting weird even since. in water she will allow herself to sink and then begin to spiral like a cork screw, i would then have to take her out because she will not come up at all. and when on the grass she will raise her head and move it in circular movements. please help me to understand her.
A:LISTEN UP PEOPLE! Those of you who are asking about buying one of her babies better think again. If the mother had inclusion body disease (IBD), which it sounds like it does, all of the babies will have this disease. It cannot be cured and is fatal 100% of the time. If Megan is a good, honest person, she will have a vet euthanize all of the babies to avoid passing sick snakes on to unsuspecting buyers. If you have a snake with IBD, all of your boas and pythons will most likely catch this airborne virus. Biologists have recently said that cases of IBD are becoming much more common due to poor practices in the growing pet trade. I know euthanization is a horrible option, but it is the only one.
