I was on University blvd the other day, and I needed to stop by the supermarket. I put in grocery store in my GPS system and a bunch of Albertsons stores came up. And all 3 I tried were closed, the sign was down and they werent there anymore. did I miss something?

A:Albertsons has been going bankrupt for the last 5 years. They have been downsizing their stores to cut costs. My roommate talks about it all the time, he's been an employee for 5 years.

Publix is in the process of purchasing 23 Publix stores in Oklahoma. Does anyone know which stores in Oklahoma they are purchasing? It was in the Tampa Bay news online a few days ago. Smitch10, you need to do your research before you answer a question. Publix IS IN FACT going to finalize the deal topurchase the Albertsons stores on 9 September 2008. Some people think they know everything.

A:That's news to me. I live in Oklahoma and would love to have Publix here. It looks like they are buying some of Albertson's Florida stores but no mention of Oklahoma. A:As the previous link states, you will need to line the job up before you can apply for the work permit. 14 is the minimum age. The stores know all the rules. Once you apply and get hired, its tentative until you get the work card. They will give you the paperwork and tell you where to go and how much it will cost.
