I tried softpedia site to download it but it did not work, what is a safe site to download this software. I tried downloads.com but they do not have it.

A:Ad-Aware SE and Ad-Aware 2007 are two separate products. Ad-Aware SE is obsolete, as the maker Lavasoft stopped supporting it as of 12/31/07 (*). Ad-Aware 2007 is an updated version of Ad-Aware SE. BTW you shouldn't download software from third-party sites when you can get it from the original vendor's site. 100% Q: I have ad-aware se personal free version and it says my virus definitions are 182 days old, but they arent?

If they were, then why when I try to update it says no new updates available. Don't updates come out more often than that. Besides, like I said I know I downloaded updates more recently than that, but lately it just seems like the update feature isn't working, anybody else have this problem? What is the solution?

Does anyone know where I can find the version of Ad-Aware SE Personal to download ? (build 1.06r1) I had the previous one but I deleted it. Now I need it back and the only thing I can find is 2007 version which is not the same. I don't want it. I want the older free version SE Personal. I have heard of using oldversion.com or oldapps.com, but are those sites safe to use? ... any help is very much appreciated!!
