100% Q: are there any antispyware for free better than ad-aware personal?

I have the ad aware personal version and I have dowloaded some others like webroot or spy sweeper they tell me I have some malware and spyware but they dont clean my computer up. So I want to know if there is any other good anyspyware to clean my computer for free.

100% Q: I have ad-aware se personal free version and it says my virus definitions are 182 days old, but they arent?

If they were, then why when I try to update it says no new updates available. Don't updates come out more often than that. Besides, like I said I know I downloaded updates more recently than that, but lately it just seems like the update feature isn't working, anybody else have this problem? What is the solution?

A:Speware doctor (the full version ) and norton's 2006 anti-virus is a winning team for a computer . I am very pleased with it . spyware doctor catches anything that was throw t it so far combined with norton antivirus that covers anything spyware doctor is not made to do. that is my two picks for protection and price. yes it is very true the more spyware programs you got running and memory things going on too your computer will get bogged down in time and certain programs will cease to work in time it would be greeat to have only 1 or 2 programs that does all the things it needs to to protect your computer right? that is my thinking and it works for me!

AVG provides virus protection, while the other two provide spyware protection that will complement each other, as each uses a different set of spyware signatures, and only spyware doctor is running realtime in the background of the two antispyware programs. you should also find a good free firewall, e.g. zoneAlarm or Sygate, in addition to the other protection you're choosing.
