100% Q: in 2007, does the price of older car models go down?

I am wanting to buy a 2003 Infinti Qx4. I've heard that if i wait until 2007 that the car prices would drop a few thousands. Is that true? I am currently residing in georgia if that makes a difference.

A:the price of a car drops every month, so if you wait a few months yes the price will drop, if you wait a year the price will drop even more. however the dealer who has the 2003 qx4 can only sell it so cheap... they can not drop the price simply because its 2007. the vehicle is worth what ever they can get someone to pay. yes the price will drop most used dealers have about 4000 markup in used cars priced from 10000-20000. if you want the car simply negotiate the price you want.

100% Q: What is the best part of the year to buy the new car from previous year?

I am shopping for the new car in the next couple of months I heard that I need to wait till Ausgust because the prices of 2007 cars will go down because 2008 cars are comming? Any advice will be helpfull on this topic.

A:I was told by a friend who worked in a dealership, February- March is the best time to get a deal on a car. The last day of the month is is good because many sales people have quotes to meet.

100% Q: How much should a 2007 new car depreciate with 3600 miles on it?

I am looking at a 2007 BMW 328i Sedan at a local deal with 3600 miles on it. Edmunds, and KBB doesn't haveused info because the car is so new. So I am thinking deduction at least $1 per mile or $3600 or 15% off the dealer asking price. Is this fair or should I deduct more?

A:the day it was bought and licensed it lost a lot of value,it is no longer considered new, even if you drove it around the block and brought it strait back to the dealer,so you can expect about a 15% drop in its original value at the least,maybe more,they have a good mark up on them already ,but you payed for that part of it also,and that part will be lost,but expect nothing less then 15% at the least with it,good luck,hope this helps.

100% Q: Is it a good deal, buying toyota corolla 2007 le new car at 15500?

i am living in verginia and buying a new corolla le 2007 and negociated a price of 15500 automatic tax and everyting included in this price. . Can I bargin more and buy this car no more than 15000. I am also considering buying a 5 speed to save even more. how much a 5 speed one should cost. I hear toyota corolla car is good. Any good cars around 15000 price range( new cars prefered) . please advice.

A:There isn't much profit in those cars for the dealership, so they don't have much room to negotiate down. If you have already moved them down from the MSRP, you probably won't be able to go much lower. Saturn Ion is a cheap, reliable car.
