2007 detroit car show

I know that they are going to show the new Chrysler and Dodge vans and the new Ford Focus. What other cars will be shown?

They say these 1000cc ones will have 40mpg. But bigger hybrids get that or better. Is this car doomed to failure? They should leave it alone. The 700cc version gets about 70mpg. I know a friend that has one and took me for a ride in it. Kinda neat. I don't understand the huge difference in mpg with 300cc. That is why she bought it, to save on fuel. I was surprised how roomy it was. It is very much like a covered motorcycle. I would not worry about getting smashed by an SUV. The car had plenty of pep.

I heard from a source that the Monte Carlo will be discontinued soon. Is this true? I had the privilege of going to the 2007 Auto Show in Detroit eight months ago and i never saw a model of it at the show. I got turned on to them when i bought one close to two years ago. I was skeptical at first, but after putting it on the freeway and some local streets, i was instantly hooked! They're the best cars ever made and it's no wonder that the NASCAR drivers drive 'em! They're fabulous! I like the old school Monte Carlo that was made in the 70's and the models that go from 2003 to the present, but not the ones that came before '03. Are there any fans of the Monte Carlo that feel the way i do about the fact that it could be discontinued? Why is GM doing this? If you own a Monte Carlo or are just a fan of them like i am, then your opinions are welcome! If this is true (discontinuing the Monte Carlo), can we get a petition going and send it to GM and tell them to keep the Monte Carlo going?

My first car was an 89 camero and i loved it, but i also like the mustang. so if you had to choose between the two to buy, which one would you pick. I must say that the concpet camero is pretty cool!

It can run up to 40 miles on battery power alone, and you just plug it in at night to recharge it, so no more gasoline if you drive less than 40 miles per day. The battery technology is not ready yet, but it looks to me like a very good concept that could be a top-selling production vehicle in a few years. Your thoughts on GM and the Volt?
